Fitness can be physical as well as mental. We
generally see it as physical. People assume fitness as bodybuilding or weight
loss or dieting etc. But actually these efforts help in being fit. The answer
for how to stay fit is eating healthy and cultivating healthy habits.
Staying
fit is very important as it helps in daily routine and to lead a happy life. A
healthy person can focus on success as wisely said "HEALTH IS
WEALTH".

"Health
is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely
the absence of disease or infirmity."
Fitness
is a superset of bodybuilding, sports, weight-loss programs, nutritional diet,
yoga and most importantly balanced diet.
Question: So how to stay fit?
Answer : You can be or stay fit by following below
six tips :-
1. Keep moving:
- Our body require movement or otherwise, it will be like a rusty wheel. Any type of physical activity which include muscular and skeletal movements will keep you fit.
2. Choose your exercise/activity:
- There are n number of activities to perform which can help in fat burn and leave your heart pumping. It can be:
- Workout: Strength training, calisthenics (body weight workout), bodybuilding, etc. Any kind of sports: Football, Cricket, Rugby and all those which includes activity.
- Yoga: A gift from ancient India to the mankind is yoga. yoga is getting famous these days because of its benefits in physical and mental fitness.
- Martial arts: Indulging in Karate, Taekwondo, Kung fu, etc helps you stay fit.
- Any dance form: Indian classics, western, such as Bharatanatyam, Rumba, B-Boying, etc helps strengthen muscles and improves flexibility.
3. Workout Regularly :
- Any activity or routine you follow should be regular, same as brushing teeth, bathing, having breakfast, lunch and dinner or anything.
- Exercising regularly not only helps to be a great manager but also it helps your muscles develop faster and stronger i.e. physical activities which you find harder now may become easy if you exercise regularly.
- As it makes your muscle grow better, will help you being in shape.
4. Rest is must:
- Regularly doesn't mean daily.
- Yes, body require rest to overcome previous exhaustion and exertion. Rest can be taking off from exercising or sleeping.
- We need 6-8 hours of sleep to recover from any mental or physical stress.
- * Protein synthesis is a process of generating new protein cells in our muscles, which help them grow. Sleeping helps in the process of protein synthesis.
- Sleeping helps in normalizing blood pressure which helps in energetic and happy mood throughout the day.
5. Do stretching:
- It is very important to be flexible. As you want to stay fit, remember staying fit is hard enough if your body isn't flexible.
- As flexibility helps your joints move through their full range of motion. enable your muscle to work most effectively.
- It decreases the risk of injury and improves your athletic performance. stretching also improves the blood flow to the muscles.
6. Warm up:
- Before any exercise there is a need to warm up, even before stretching.
- Warm up is very important as it improves the blow flow to the whole body.
- Workout before warm up can be dangerous many muscle and bone injuries are the results of skipping a warm-up and cool-down before and after workouts.
7. Bonus tip!! Drink water:
- Drinking water means being hydrated, which is very important, our body needs oxygen.
- Water is the best source of oxygen.
- Water helps maintain our body's ph levels.
- Water composes 75% of our brain.
- It regulates our body's temperature and moistens oxygen for breathing.
- Water helps our body absorb nutrients and helps carrying those nutrients and oxygen to our cells and this in return helps you stay fit.
- Drinking water also helps to detoxify your body and remove waste.
